Other than that, we may also acquire additional information such as customers’ account status, choice of services and customer logo for additional service purpose.

Addition to that, Firstweb is also using cookies, which are small pieces of information that a website can store in a designated file on user’s computer for other service purpose. Other than that, Firstweb serves the right to store customers’ electronic mails and other forms of communication as a necessary incident during the process of transmission and delivery of communications.

As above-mentioned, protecting clients’ privacy is the top priority for Firstweb, we strike our best to protect all the confidential information from clients such as account information and personal communication and we ensure our practises are consistent with the law and legitimate interest of Firstweb, its employees and other clients of Firstweb.

To achieve data security, Firstweb has an appropriate physical, electronics and managerial procedure to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of information collected from customers.

Modification of customer particulars.

Besides upholding the mission of protecting clients’ confidential information, we also practise flexibility for customers to update their personnel information by logging a Help Desk ticket for changes request.

For example, a customer, TLD Domain name customer has registered a domain name with Firstweb and wishes to change the name to Technical Contact to other company name or any other information. This can be done by logging into client’s portal as Firstweb provides the facility for clients to have full access to their domain account by sending them their username and password.

Do note that customer domain name registration information is made publicly available in the registry. In any event that you forget your portal log in password, you can always log a Help Desk ticket to us and we will resend the password to the email address in the domain registration record. Thus, it is essentially important to keep your domain email address up to date and also your email address with Firstweb.

Will Firstweb ever send me direct mailings?

In order to ensure that customers receive the service that satisfies them the most, Firstweb may send its direct customers’ information about various products and service that may be of interest. However, you may choose to “opt out” from such mailing service by sending request to support@1webdesignstudio.net but you may miss out important information with regards to the service offered.

In addition, if you are Firstweb reseller, Firstweb and/or its partners and advertisers may send you newsletters, promotional materials and other informative mailings to you from time to time.
